Yamaha 4.3 manifolds same as Merc 4.3 ??

I have a 92 Yamaha I/O Chev 4.3 witch needs manifolds and risers. Can I use Mer Cruiser 4.3 manifolds + risers? There half the price. Is there any modifications I need to make? The risers look the same. Dont know about the manifolds.

All the chevy marine V-6's have the same config. It's basically how you plumb it to the stern drive. <br />So your answer is yes, they will fit the engine, and yes, there most likely will be a modification required to plumb it up.

One big modification. Ain't gonna match up to anything on the engine including the exhaust. You will need to change out the thermostat housing cause everything will need to be replumbed. New hoses will be needed. If the alternator bracket is bolted to the port manifold, then you will have to modify that bracket being it will not bolt to the mercruiser manifold. The solenoid bracket on the port riser will have to modified to fit the mercruiser as will the shift bracket on the starboard riser. Course you may not have a choice since the risers are not in stock currently. Plenty of manifolds but what good are they without risers.
