Yamaha 3.0 Stern Drive - Fuel Filter/Water Separator Spring

I have a 1990 3.0L Yamaha Sterndrive. The Fuel pump has a ceramic filter/water separator that sits on a spring. I ordered the new ceramic filter assuming that the spring would come with it but it did not. My issues is that before the boat was mine it sat for a bit and the spring sat in some water and deteriorated slightly so I'd like to replace the spring. Does anyone know what the part number of this spring would be?<br /><br />Thanks

I have checked the parts website, however, I don't see that they even acknowledge a spring with the fuel filter.

its prolly just a carter fuel pump go to napa with the filter ask for a spring

I'd Guess that it's the Same Spring,+ Filter as a Merc.......

Yamaha doesn't even show the breakdown of the filter on my system. But it should be the same pump as Mercruiser.

Thanks for the help. I installed the filter for the merc 3.0 and it's running like a champ!
