Hello, I'm posting from Japan.
I have an old Yamaha 2stroke 115(V4), which is probably about 25years old. I got it second hand several years ago , and it's been working without serious trouble until now, and still is. About a month ago I began overhauling it and just recently
I finished the work . Now the engine is working more smoothly than before.
One thing I was not quite sure while assembling the engine is about connecting the oil supply lines to the oil pump. My repair manual says that each of the lines need to be installed onto their respective discharge fittings .
This is a picture in the manual that shows the oil discharge ports( fittings) with the cylinder numbers.

But before the overhaul work the lines were not installed as shown in the manual. They were fitted , clockwise from the bleed screw, No.1, No.4, No.3, No.2. As of now they are in the manual's order though. The manual covers the models from 1984-1988 and the trouble is I'm not quite sure the model year of my engine.
So I would like to ask if the connecting order of these lines is critical or not.

Sorry for my poor English.
