Hmm...you might be able to. I went to yamahaoutboardparts.com, and found the starter and bracket for the 1995 25hp models. However, the starter costs over $500. That's a lot of bucks, it seems to me.<br /><br />Maybe your best bet will be to find an electric start 25hp Yamaha that is otherwise trashed and use it as a parts donor for your motor.<br /><br />You could probably buy the whole engine with, say, a thrashed powerhead, for a fraction of the price of the starter and necessary other parts. Add to that the other parts on the parts motor and you could have a real bargain.<br /><br />Try eBay. Or contact an outboard junkyard like tcoutboard.com and see what they have available.<br /><br />Otherwise, it doesn't seem economically justifiable.
