Yamaha 25 runs Rough

I have a 25 Yamaha 25FS that runs rough at idle aand sometimes at speed it is real jerky, ill let off the throttle a little and it will speed up just a little momentarily and then slow down. The rough idle stops after warming up for a about 5 mins. Is it the carbs? Any help appreciated.

It does sound like a carb problem. The passages are small in these and a through cleaning is necessary to do the job. Soaking overnight in cleaner and blowing out all passages with air has been the best answer for me.

Could I spray some Decarb Spray in the intake?<br />I appreciate the help.

decarb wont help your carb problem. the carb needs to be pulled and stripped to do the job right.
