Can anyone tell me where the pop off valve is located on a 1999 yamaha 225?...The factory rep said mine is bad and to replace it. Is it about the same as the theromastat in an auto????
They are usually located at the base of the block, below the computer. There is a hose that connects to its. The housing looks similar to a T-stat housing on an auto engine. The T- stats are usually located at the top of each bank of cylinders. It's an easy fix.
