Hey, just bought an old Grady that has a not been run in a year 1993 225 TXRR
outboard on it. Been busy draining the old fuel and cleaning the carbs. Also general maintenance items like thermostats and new low volume fuel pumps and check valve, filter etc.
The man I bought the boat from advised me that the prime start solenoid does not operate per his Yamaha dealer. Everything I read on this forum suggests that power should be constant to the unit with the key on, but I get nothing on my test light at either lead. Other than having a bad wire is there a logical place to start looking. Bad sensor or the like?
