I was idling the engine home on a hose. Have started if a few times the last week, and thought it run fine every time. Running on pre mixed fuel even though engine have autolube. This is a engine that I bought recently and have not been out on the lake with so far.
Suddenly the engine stopped. And when I tries to turn it around with a ratchet shaft I can not go the whole circle. It stops around TDC3, and if I go back the other way around it stops around TDC4. I can see all pistons moving through the spark plug hole. Besides the part between TDC3 and 4 the engine turns freely. I took the flywheel of to check if there were some issue there, but made no difference. How bad is this you think??

Found the fault today. Screews holding the bearing on the piston rod had come loose on one rod. So the screew went into the crank case wall and stopped the movement. The bearing itself is trash. Lucky the engine was at idle when this happened.
