Re: Yamaha 225 4-stroke, won't start, no fuel to engine

For what ever reason, fuel is notgetting past the injectors.

#1 - Does it have proper fuel pressure? (fuel injected motors need a fairly high fuel pressure, which varies by manufacturer) to run properly... if not it's probably the fuel pump putting out too low of pressure... either clogged, or low voltage, or just plain dead...

#2 - If it does have goo pressure, then the injectors are A- clogged, OR B- not firing because of some sort of engine controller issue...

#3- (4-5-6-7, etc...) these can be complicated to work on, with computer controls,etc...

Bottom line, if you do not find it easily, by evaluating fuel pressure, I'd take it to a qualified/certified Yamaha dealer for service...

Good Luck...
