motor was running fine when i put up for winter. today it will not fire. fuse is good kill switch is connected, i do not no what to check next. any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated. thanks guys

motor needs good compression, good spark at the correct time, and the proper fuel to air ratio in the cylinder to it to fire properly.
you need to start troubleshooting to see what is good and what is not

i know how a outboard works. my question was trouble shoot a motor with NO fire thanks

your definition of fire must be different than mine.
without all 3 of those things I mentions the cylinders will not fire and burn properly.
maybe you are speaking about no spark to the spark plugs

Step #1 is to charge the battery if it is electric start model.

it is an electric start, battery is new and spinning fast. Battery is not the problem
