yamaha 150 temporary oil inj. block off

i have a yamaha 150 pro V and the oil pump wont shut off and overfills the tank on the engine then blows the sensor out and makes a mess. ive read on here that seems to be the problem on these engines. the injection pump works fine. im guessing its gonna be the sensor or the control, it looks like the control might have shorted. my question is, can i temporarily block off the oil lines and disconnect the wires until i can get the dough to replace whatever part i need to or get a block off plate.

why not simply trouble shoot it and fix it?
its either gonna be the switch in the engine tank,the oil control module or a broken wire.
without a model number no one knows which transfer system you have other than you.
which apperantly aint helping.
