Yamaha 150 engine sparkplugs

My 1998 Yamaha C150TXRW outboard engine came with the NGK B8HS-10 sparkplugs. I mistakenly purchased the NGK BR7HS-10 and I wonder if I can use them. What is the difference and is there a cross reference for the B8HS-10 with champion? I can return the unused plugs, but my dealer is about an hour away.<br />Thanks

If I am right the "7" is just one range hotter than the "8". Try the NGK website <br /><br /> http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/index2.asp?nav=50000&country=US

Thanks! Web site says use the BR7hs-10 so we'll see what happens.

Wow! I put those new plugs in and it started itself right up. Didn't even need the key.<br /><br />Just want to give you guys a smile
