Yamaha 150 Clatter or Chatter

I have a 1999 Yamaha ProV 150. It runs like a tiger. But, lately i Have noticed that when I drop down from 5,000 rpms to 3,000 rpms the motor seems to have a clatter or chatter noise. If I drop it below 2,000 it goes away and if I take it back over 4,000 it goes away.

DO I HAVE APROBLEM?
