Yamaha 150 4 stroke - change of rotation

Bought a Sportsman open new in March and recently damaged the prop. The dealer could not get a prop with the engine‘s current rotation but found one with the reverse rotation. So to fix my problem they changed the engine’s rotation by changing out the lower unit and used the opposite rotation prop. Sorry it s confusing I don’t remember which direction I started with.

so we have new prop and new lower unit.

My question is simply would this cause my motor to sound louder and the boat’s ride to become choppier?

props are a lot easier to find than lower units, and I see no reason for the motor to be louder or choppier, what ever that is
