I am the new owner of a 1200 SUV. My other Yamahas have shot water out the side cooling spout on the port forward side when on the hose connection. This one does not. It seemed to be flowing well and cooling the engine, but not much water came out of the spout. It was flowing well out of the back port however. Is this normal? The hose if clear and open.

the front tube may have sand in it but the roostertail is the water exiting the cooling system so you should be fine,, feed some line trimmer string down the front tube and see if it clears it out

Jeff,<br />Thanks. I opened up the hose with a piece of wire. There still does not seem to be too much pressure there while on the hose connection. I am going to put it in the water and test it out this weekend. Thanks for your help.
