Occasionally, while running along one of my plug wires will just come off of the plug. Although it usually just happens one at a time, it isn't isolated to just one plug wire that does this.<br /><br />I have tried putting tie wraps around the boot and tightening it down but, that doesn't seem to have solved the problem. <br /><br />Is there some sort of product that I can apply to help them stay better?<br /><br />Thanks in advance.
<br /><br />Anyway, I don't think taking the end cap off is appropriate for my model. I am having a hard enough time trying to keep the wires on it as is let alone with the contact smaller.<br /><br />It appears that the connector on the wire is a spring and not just a rounded piece of flat metal like on most car plugs. I don't think I can bend it in with pliers.<br /><br />The wire appears to be built into the coil. Will I have to replace the entire coil/wire combo or is there a way to just replace the end of the wire?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Greg
