Yamaha 115 Lower unit oil change.

Anything special about changing the oil in a Yamaha lower unit. Anyone using synthetic? Directions and opinions would be appreciated.<br /><br />Bill

Nothing special just make sure that you replace the gaskets or o rings for the vent & filler plugs. Check your shop manual for details.

it is recommended that you use 90 gear oil.And you refill it through the same hole that you drained out the oil to ensure that no air gets trapped in the unit
