Yamaha 115 - Help

Anyone know how to remove the housing above the lower unit - I think its called the gear case housing. I think I removed all the bolts but the thing wont budge.<br /><br />R3

There are two "hidden" bolts that have to be removed.<br /><br />The first is under the blank rubber plug at the top of the lower unit directly above the prop. Pry the rubber plug out. There is a 14mm bolt inside that secures the trim tab. Mark the position of the trim tab (so you can set it in the same position when you replace it) and remove the bolt. The trim tab will fall out, exposing the 2nd bolt, which is also a 14mm bolt that is removed from underneath where the trim tab was - you will see it.
