Yamaha 115 anodes

I am getting my new to me 02 yamaha 115 2 stoke ready for my first season with her including water pump service and new thermostats. My friend who had a F225 4 stoke mentioned changing the anodes, he/we assumed it had block anodes similar to the F225. In the attached screen shot of the exploded view it shows 2 anodes per side #14 but they look to be in the water jackets under the cylinder head. Does Yamaha really expect you to remove the head to replace these? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look in your owner's manual for when they say those need to be replaced.

Owners and service manuals both make mention to check but no instruction or detail on replacement.

only way I can think of is to open it up to inspect and/or replace

Replace them , Yamaha did have corrosion issues.
