My 2000 model Yamaha 115 doesn't like to start hot. Cold starts are fine, wot fine, but seems fuel starved at restart. Requires priming the bulb (goes soft), manually choking, and advancing throttle, then sputters to a start. Restarts perfectly within 3 min of shutdown; any longer and it's a chore. Tilting it out of the water seems to make matters worse. No fuel line leaks, no wet spark plugs, carbs rebuilt 3 yrs ago. Your thoughts?

Sounds like floats are off. Have you ever changed the line the bulb is ie.. the main line from the tank to the motor? I had same problem and had a vacuum leak by the primer bulb.

Thanks for the reply! I've changed the bulb, but not the line to the tank. Other possibilities - Carbs, fuel pump, anti-siphon valve. I'm thinking that the good wot performance may rule out the pump and valve; hope that someone with a little more experience than me has had a similar problem.
