Im starting to race thundercats and I want to now which engine is best suited for speed,any purchase imfo or tuning help will be great,is marina 40hp a rebadged yam and are all bits interchangable.any std goodies for speed is appreciated.

If it's a 2 cyl. 40 hp motor, the Mariner is a Yamaha. If it's a 4 cyl., it's a classic Merc engine. Personally, I'd prefer a 4 cyl. Merc. Parts are a lot cheaper when you blow it up...
