Hi

I have a 2001 90 Hp 2 stroke Yamaha 90LTRZ (198 DLV)
There is tube/hose on the front part of the motor that runs from the lower unit up to the top. This weekend it must have come off its clip. It got hung up under the motor when trimmed down and got pinched, it wore down in a couple of spots. I can repair the wear marks, pinches, but does anyone have any idea on reattaching it underneath so it doesn't get pinched again? If there was a clip, I do not see it, or it broke off.
The hose/tube is still intact and attached top to bottom, but sort of dangling out there. This happen to anyone else?
Not sure if this is part of the hose for the flush kit that Yamaha has.
Thanks for the help
Dwight

It's the speedo hose, not useful unless you have a water-pressure operated speedometer, so just cut it, plug it and forget it. Good Luck!
