Went out a couple days ago and had a problem with my yamaha 115 (carb). Would not go over idle speed. Full tank of gas (oil mixed). Was an obvious electrical problem evidenced by "gas gauge" intermittently working/not working. Returned to the landing using the trolling motor and at times the engine would start and would run at idle speed. New battery full charge. Other electrical devices worked, bilge pump, lights.
