Maybe his dad will see this and do the 'right thing'
I had to work the yard one summer to work off my 'dumbest moment'!

So glad there wasn't video for the whole world to see!

Talk about overheating an engine! In fact, i'm surprised it hasn't seized after a minute or two. Will probably end on Craiglist with the usual ?ran last time we use it?...

At least, he's wearing a pfd!

Whats crazy is he is using the motor just like a mud motor. Pushing down on the handle, pivoting to clear weeds and get extra thrust. He obviously has seen it done before - but lets hope not with an outboard.

Get on the computer(craigslist), sell the x box and tv, you are gonna have to ride with friends to school cause I am sellin your car. Get the lawn mower and gas can and don't come back without the go devil.I would never put my outboard in that kind of stuff in the first place.

Well, at least the idjits had on their PFD's, not that they were needed.
Looked like a ditch more than navigable water....

Some kids are boneheads for awhile. Some seem to care. Most (of mine anyway) seem to grow up eventually.

They were probably trained well by their parents. They were wearing PFD and the one guy kept asking if the pissser was working.

Joebob - that water is likely 10 feet deep in most of the places he was driving. The water vegetation make thick mats that make it difficult to determine if you are trying to drive through weeds or solid ground. Both the weeds and the ground mess up the prop and prevent cooling of the engine.

Sad, just sad. Not just the treatment of the motor, but also the fact they they eventually made it out to post this video.

Lets hope these kids never buy a jet ski:facepalm:

On the flip side you can learn a lot of stuff trying to fix the dumb stuff you have already done.

Look at the trail, GPS, what water? Experience is what one gains when something breaks, and they just got a dose ...
