Just spotted a mid 60's Mercury 3.9 HP with hose and gas tank at a great price. Seller claims it was totally serviced in 2019 and never used since, he uses an electric trolling motor.
Was wondering if it would work as a kicker motor for my boat in signature?
If my main motor fails will this get me back to shore?
Use it trolling for lake trout and landlocked salmon (1.8mph)?
Maybe not enough HP?
Not sure if it will even fit and reach the water?
