Worlds Smallest Fish

The men down under should know this one!!!<br /><br /><br />The smallest true fish yet to be discovered was only recently found by scientists from the Scripps Institute of Oceanoraphy studing the Great Barrier Reef system in Australia!!! <br /><br />The "infantfish" at fullmaturity measures in at a whopping quarter of an inch long, and those are the really big males!!! The petite females are a third of an inch!!! Best guess is it would take about 500,000 of these fish to make up one pound!!! That is only a guess because only six specimens have been found, which together would weigh less than 1/1,000th of a pound!!!

Hmmmm. Yabut 1/3" is bigger than 1/4".<br /><br />My favorite little fish is the humuhumunukunukuapuaa. The name translates from Hawaiian as "the littlest fish with the longest name".

We need to find some more of them there fishes. They might make a pretty good dip for a cracker if we could get a little bowl of 'em . . . Ya know, we could just throw a little mayo in with them and we have a spread for a sangwich. Maybe we could get techno to clean 'em. That ought to keep him busy for a while . . .

Looks like you have plenty of time on your hands as well, Quarlesome..... Have you been sleeping with JB? Little fish is appropriate for DC largest is not.
