A fish that would be nice to experience at least once in a life time, in europe that is great in NA it is just scrub, but carp of much smaller size is great eating. Peter

Eating :eek: those things are so stinky I use to bowfish them in tournaments and love to catch them rod and reel and (release) only on the rod and reel.:) But maybe I just do not know how to prepare them. Any how I would love to catch one that Big....

First you put it on a hickory board soaked in salt water. Garnish with your favorate herbs. Cook on low heat for 2 hrs. Remove fish. Then eat the board. lol:)

strange how in other parts of the world people WANT to catch those fish, yet here in Utah, at Utah Lake, we are doing everything possible to eradicate them. of course, the fact that they account for 80+% of the bio-mass has something to do with that.

i even hear that Europeans pay good money to fly here and go to Flaming Gorge to flyfish for them.

How far from Utah Lake do you live? I used to work at Walker's in PG.......
