Respectfully.....I don't agree....at all. That goes for either Canada or the U.S.

Re: World Juniors Hockey--17 days and counting!!

Finland looks good no doubt but I don't think the exhibition games mean a dang thing, the tourney starts in a couple days and then we will see if Europe can deal with the size and speed of North American Hockey.

and to Bang the Drum of my Kids, the US is the fastest team I have ever seen.

Once again Canada and the US shared Charter planes on the way over and that's been a good thing in the past. I sure would like to have been a fly on the wall of that plane, LOL.

Yeah, the U.S has some very quick kids, so you're not wrong on that one Lipp. Keep an eye on a couple of the U.S kids: Jones and McKinnon to put up some good numbers and there are more. They are coming into the tournament very highly rated...so it will be good to watch.
Canada and the U.S have a game on the 30th I think....which will be a 'must watch' game. ;):joyous:When they play against each other the ol' neighbourly luv makes for some great rivalry and competition.:D
The fly on the wall thing...yeah, that would be good to see and hear noting that a lot of these kids (U.S and Canadian) are team mate and often roommates for their junior hockey season so they must have a blast shifting gears to adopt a national sense of obligation. Its probably pretty entertaining...then it goes to code red when the puck drops.;)

OK. late in on this due to my work travel to none English speaking countries !!!!! Back home till at least mid January now. Looking forward to watching as many games as possible.
So are we doing the usual with flying the flag of the team that finishes highest ??
Looking at the USA team so far I have my stars and stripes avatar at the ready !!!! but hopefully Team Canada can come through (maybe)
Looking forward to some good conversation throughout the competition.

Pick a team, if your Canadian you don't have to worry, its ok to fly it now, BUT, if the US finishes higher then you fly the US Flag for 30 days from the end of the tourney. I don't think we have anyone other then North Americans so its between the US and Canada, if someone from another country comes in and wants in then we can discuss it but I am not hanging a Russian flag no matter what.

I have flown the Maple Leaf the last couple years......:mad-new::facepalm:

Rob I will see you in the morning.
