The response I have in mind would be zapped faster than a eeboater jeep ride. Does the word "Bite Me" get the point accross? Git em KaGee.

Yah, tell them you just so happen to be on holiday in the UK and you would like to make arrangements to pick the winnings up in person. Add that you have already contacted the BBC and they want to do a news feature on "The Lucky American Lottery Winner" Spot lighting you as the check is awarded.

Re: Wooo Hoooooo! Hit the Lottery!

I know a guy that recently fell for a scam. It wasn't quite this bad, but it was still rather obvious to me, I don't know how he didn't see it.

He was selling a motorcycle on ebay. He was asking $2200, but a guy offered to buy it for $3500. As payment, the buyer sent a cashier's check for $4800, and the seller was to cash the check, send the extra back, and wait for pickup of the motorcycle.

Oddly enough, after the seller sent the $1300, the guy never picked up the motorcycle.
