If the link doesn't work, go to Boat Restoration and Rebuilding and look at the thread titled:

1st project many pics (UPDATE)

Any comments on this or that thread will be greatly appreciated and helpful.

I'm planning on getting it goin' after a little progress is made.

That should keep you out of trouble for some time. Good luck with it.

Re: WOOHOO! Check this out!

I had a similar boat about 10 years ago and gave it to a college student who the lake but was short of cash. It was a 1957 Larson with wings just like the 57 chevy.

I believe the color of blue is called "Robin Egg Blue." Gosh seeing yours makes me wish I had the little ole boat back. Good luck and only the best in boating.

Re: WOOHOO! Check this out!

Thanks guys! Bob, you're most likely correct on that one!
Kagee, in a year, she'll be sea (or most likely lake-worthy), new wiring, floor, transom, & motor runnin' like a champ! I don't think I'll have to repaint her 'cause the gel coat is not cracked at all! (besides the one flaw that I posted on the Boat Restoration Forum). The windshield is clear with no cracks, stearing wheel - no flaws, and a few of the seats look useable.

I'll bump this post up in a year from Friday, September 1st and you'll not only see how excited not only me, but the rest of the family is as well! (I hope) 8)

I've tried a little research on the maker (Newman)? and if this is the same boat builder from Maine that specialized in yaghts (sp) and the went to building his own molds out of wood when the whole fiberglass thing came about, then I'll be very pleased! If anyone else can correct me, please let me know and an opinion on the year and model would me most appreciated!
