I asked them if their post 2000 boats had wood. the answer is:
"There is a wood transom panel in the center where the stern drive mounts that is sealed with several layers of fiberglass. This panel is made of a special treated material similar to pressure treated decking material. Due to the thickness and strength needed for support of the stern drive, this is the best material available. The transom panel does not extend down all the way to the floor, so any water that gets into the boat will be in contact the fiberglass. "
what does this mean- and does an outboard powered sea ray have this?
