help please,
i've got a 1996 bayliner,with a 1996 90hp force
by mercury outboard motor.my keyswitch was having
problems sticking.the switch was loose in the
console.last week it quit working.had to go across
the seloniod with a screwdriver just to get it back to land.i bought a new keyswitch and replaced
it.it's the newest factory replacement.the old
switch had plug-in type connectors.the new switch
ties together color to color(6 wires coming out
the back of the switch, some are two-wires spliced
to one).it still won't turn over.the switch is
the choke type.yes i put it in neutral.i'm
sure it's probably a blown fuse or a tripped
breaker but the fuses i found were fine and i'm
not sure where on the motor the breaker or fuse
would be located.other than the fuses under the
console i only found one fuse on the motor itself
and it was fine.

thanks for any help
CTM
