wont start

I have a 96 kawaskai sts 750, it starts out of the water but as soon as i put it in the water it refuses to start. I have changed the plugs/gas/battery and I am getting spark and fuel to the filter where I can see it.


Any ideas on what to check?

Also if anyone knows some simple things to try to get a little more kick out of my 88 yama WR 500 id love to try it, I get passed by pontoon boats.

kaw 750 engines blow head gaskets really easily check the compression and see if you have good compression,, with bad compression they start on the trailer but just crank over in the water
