A '69 doesn't have a buzzer. But there should be an idiot light on the instrument panel. To test it, look for a tan wire coming out of one cylinder head. There will be a rubber insulating sleeve over the wire. Slide the sleeve back, exposing the terminals underneath, turn on the ignition switch and ground the terminals to the head. light should come on. This tests the circuit and bulb, but does NOT test the thermal switch in the head. No way to do that except take it out and heat it up.
