The United states needs to adopt the "loser pays" model of lawsuits. Maybe that would cut down on these frivolous cases that tie up our court system.

she won't get that much, but she will most likely win, unless she messes up. The huge dollar amount is to get people's attention. she clearly doesn't expect to get that much, I don't think she's that stupid but she is getting her point across. I think this is part of a strategy.
