I was just given a old Wizard 7.5 horsepower motor and don't know a thing about it so i was hoping to get a few answers from this great forum.
The motor has a Tecumseh motor and a clutch.
I need to know if this is air cooled or water cooled and where I can get a prop for it.
Being it is a tecumseh motor I figure I should be able to get motor parts through a lawnmower place?
It started right up in the barrel but I would like to rebuild the carb just for ships and giggles.
One more thign I noticed that you can either use the self contained tank or hook it up to a remote tank.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Your motor is built by Eska.Diffucult to date without a model number.Powerhead is air cooled and the leg is water cooled.Motors after 67 have a water pump.Older motors water is circulated by the prop wash.If it is working right water should mist out of the relief holes on the leg. Some parts may be available
at a small engine shop.
In my opinion these motor aren't worth investing too much money.Noisy.they vibrate, poor performers not particularly reliable. The E/J 5,5 5 and 7.5 are a much better bet.Smoother, quieter, and will out perform the Eska.Parts are readily available back to the early 50s.

Actually the water is sprayed on the bottom cylinder. I have a Golden Jet (same thing). There good little motors. Also it will only mist out the back holes in gear. Have a couple others I will part out over winter, and parts to ebay....so keep an eye out. Parts also at ..
