when i was in jacksonville last week for the super bowl, i passed by a department of homeland security boat. 39 foot interceptor- center console, closed bow area, with FOUR 225 hp outboards. hardtop, bright white hull with silver accents and DHS logos on the sides. just didn't have the camera handy.<br /><br />imagine taking that out by yourself for a spin...

Drueling as I type... you guys get the neatest toys.<br /><br />My wife's Grandmother and Aunts live in Virginia Beach. I go down to Rudy Inlet to fish and watch the boats go out. There is a SEAL base up the inlet. I have several hot boats go out of there. <br /><br />One of them I remember, the pilot and copilot both wore helmets like fighter or copter pilots wear. There were about 6 or 8 SEALS in the back. And everyone rode standing up and strapped into their place... kind like an amusement park ride. Once they got to the end of the jetty he put the hammer down. POOF! they were gone! I never new diesel engines could fly so fast.

KaGee<br /> I have watched the seals do High speed pickups at Damneck when I was there. we were invited to watch so we got escorted to the restricted north end. wow what a show. its amazing them guys got arms left. at that time they were usuing supercharged 740hp mercruisers.<br /> they can deploy and pick up so fast its not funny.
