Wiring up a tach

Hey guys Ive got a Suzuki DT40 with remote control and looking to wire up a tach to it just for referance. I have several wires hanging from the control box that are capped ( black purple pink and blue i believe) <br /> I was told I should be able to wire it right into 2 of these extra wires...Does anyone know if this is true? or does anyone have an electrical schematic for the 85 DT40..thanks guys

You will probably get a better response in the Suzuki forum. Even though it is an electronic question it is more related to your motor. Different types of motors require different types of tachs.<br />Good luck
