Does each positive leg screw correspond to a neg buss screw or does it matter? Does it matter if a positve wire attaches to one side of the panel and the neg wire is on the opposite side or should they both be coming off the same side?

Your fuse panel will have no negative or ground wires on it. You need a separate ground bus bar for the negative returns.

Here is a drawing of a 12 fuse panel. Each screw goes to a load. The load's return will go to a negative bus bar that you will need to purchase. You will need a large cable that connects to this bus bar that will return back to your battery.

Not so fast there!
Some Fuse Blocks include a Ground Bus within the Fuse Block.

And while it makes more sense when you come back in a year and try to figure out which ground is associated with which fuse;
It makes no difference operationally or electrically in what order, or where, the Positives and Negatives are attached.
If you have a touch of OCD you will be forced to place them in the same order however.

Thats what I tohought and yes I do have a slight touch of OCD.! And yes the fuse panel I have does have a neg buss built into it. The positive circuits are numbered but I dont think the negative screws on the neg buss have numbers, but Ill check again and thanks for the info.

Yes. That is true. In fact the one you bought may be this one that does have a negative bus. Negative bus is on the top.
