Wiring the overheat buzzer/light...

okay so I have decided that the overheat indicator might be important. I wired a 12 v led light to the warm wire and then back to the ignition wire. My question is will this work as a method of indication? Does this circuit deliver 12v? or something lower? I don't really have the money for anything more at this time so I'm hoping this is a solution.

Re: Wiring the overheat buzzer/light...

Put the LED in series with the orange wire and the "I" terminal. This provides 12 volts through the light when the engine is running and the engine overheats. Be certain to put the LED where it will be easily noticable yet shaded--the sun will tend to blank it out

Connect the wire that goes into you motor to ground, the buzzer/led will go off.
