Hello all,
Does anybody have a remedy for this (see pic)? I bought the boat/motor only 4 months ago and every time we take it out the corregated wiring conduit becomes separated from the harness and the wires/fuel lines become exposed. I have reattached it 4 or 5 times now. While I'm getting pretty good at the job I'd rather not have to bother! The previous owner mentioned how aggregating it was and I'm beginning to understand.
I've contacted our local dealer twice and they have told me 1. I'm SOL and then 2. "Bring it in, we'll see what we can do plus look for 'other stuff' we can work on." Needless to say I'll be avoiding them on this one.
I'm curious if any of you handy folks have any ideas for keeping the wiring harness attatched? I had a friend suggested zip-ties but I don't see how that would help.
Thank you,
Jon
