Wiring harness colour codes

I am putting a 1996 Volvo 5.7 Liter GL in an older boat I have purchased a wiring harness male plug that has jut colored wires at the other end. Is there any one who can help me find a wiring diagram showing the color codes or the pin configuration so we can trace the curcuit?

Here's a picture of the male pins and the wires which are: Black, red, lightbrown, grey, lightblue, purple darkbrown&white, yellow&red, lightbrown&blue. I need to know where thes wire go. Thanks
