Hi guys, I have an old Humminbird 100 sx fishfinder that I want to put on to my boat. It hasn't been run in a number of years so I simply want to test it out before installing it.
I have the transducer that simply plugs into the two wire connector on the back. I also have another "cord"
( but it actually appears to be a short coax cable) that plugs into the OTHER two wire connector on the back. I was ready to hook up my 12 v battery and drop the 'ducer into a pond to see what came up on the screen.
But, when I realized that the second cable was a coax......I stopped. Humminbird no longer has the manual for this FF on its screen. Can anyone verify for me that the second wire ( the only other two wire connector) is actually for 12 volts? thanks Rich
