wiring for a Volvo penta v8 aq211

hi there, i have just bought myself the above engine, and need to know the wiring for it. It came with a loom with a square end on it and a circle end, the circle end goes to the engine, as my boat is hard wired i need to know what colours do what. Any one know or anyone know any diagrams about the net?

Is this engine going into a Volvo Penta boat of the same year range?

If so, volvo stayed with many of the same colors during many of the early years.
See if you can match your helm harness with the engine harness colors.
If the harness connectors do not match, you may have to be creative.

Ayuh,... Dump in 4 quarts, 'n check it, then fill to the Full line, but not Over it...
