I have a 24 volt motorguide trolling motor that came with my boat. The circuit board has been removed and all wires have been rewired into toggle switches. One switch is on/off and the other changes the direction of the motor. There is a green and blue wire that are not connected to anything. Do I need to have 50 amp circuit breakers at the battery or can this animal be wired directly to the battery posts. I have never run it in a dual battery setup before, just tested it on a single battery to see if it worked and it did.
