wires for trime sender & trims limit switch '78 Mark twain V180

I see a double blue wire that goes into a bullet connector, then a purple or maybe half purple half blue with with bullet connector next to it. also i see a violet wire(same color coming off trim gauge) just floating around back there. i cant see where either of the 2 trim wires went. ive looked at a few wring diagrams, and cant see what im loking for

ive used this one, i'll try to cut the bullet leads off and see if that will help, cause if i just cross these 2 wires it should work, just no limit sensor. and it didnt seem to wor with a jumperwire. how about one for the gauge side trim sender?

The gauge sender is a variable resister. One side of the sender goes to ground, the other side goes up to the gauge. Another wire supplying 12V goes to the trim gauge to make it work. The wire going from the sender to the gauge should be Brown/White
