sounds like you're in a real pickle, since you want it to run b4 you purchase a new swtch : and it needs to be swtchd on to run! hehehe

<br /><br />i haven't got the foggiest idea of that motor, but unless its really unique, it is an old points type ignition. so, you might just want to forget the ign swtch, and 'hot wire' the puppy.<br /><br />as in, getting some little alligator clip wires from the autoparts store. then connecting from the coil to battery. you would want to connect to post on coil opposite the lead going to points. then i imagine you'll have to pull start the motor. unless it has a starter. if you don't follow this info, and you don't get more/better info, you might try this link:<br />
