Wire color and hook-up for Johnson outboard

Hello, I have a 140 Johnson V6 with the shift controls and there is a large cable that gos to the tachometer, this cable is made up of 3 wires ( Gray, Black and purple)
and the back of my tachometer has 3 spots for wire
(SEND, IGN and GND)
Could someone please tell me what color wire goes to what on my tachometer? Thank-you

Black - gnd
Purple - Ign
