does the water have to be drained out of the engine - or does gravity drain the water. The manuals call for fogging and draining the gearcase but what about the water inside the engine.

Hi Deppong3,<br />If you have an utboard,it self drains ase long as it's vertical.An IO either needs the<br />block and manifold drained and filled with RV-antifreeze. Unless you have a closed cooling sys, then you would drain the heat exchanger and fill with RV-antifreeze.Fog and drain and refill the LU.Also grease the <br />gimble bearing and CV joint on the stern drive.<br />...have fun...corm
