Winterizing Question

My boat has a 4.3 liter Merc. When I winterized it I pulled the drain plugs on the block and the manifolds, pulled the big hose to drain the water out of the hose and ran foging oil in the carb. One thing I have read is that you should pull the hose for the power steering pump. I didnt do that. What problems can that cause? I am going to pull it the next time I can get to my boat.

Thanks in advance. This is my first year with a boat so I have a lot of questions .

Re: Winterizing Question

Water hose to the cooler for oil/power steering is the one that should get pulled/drained - just to be clear.
